Gradient Animal Print Nails

In honour of my trip to London Zoo tomorrow with my boyfriend on our week off I decided to do a mixture of animal prints.

I used OPI’s ‘Strawberry Margarita’ and ‘A Grape Fit’ for the gradient which I did first, then I added the leopard print in the corner and the zebra print with ‘Lady In Black’.

These are going to look great in the sunshine tomorrow which I know will be out!

Ombré Chevron Tips

For this mani I free handed all the chevrons as I suck at using tape! A tip I have if your doing them freehand, look at them from two angles, one with the free edge of your nail facing you, then another view with the free edge pointed away, means you get a good look all round to make sure it’s all even!

I used OPI’s ‘Glints of Glinda’ as a base, ‘Classic’ from the Designer Series first, then Models Own ‘Mystic Mauve’ next and finally ‘Extravagance’ from the OPI Designer Series.

Tattoo Nails

These are some hand painted tattoo lettering nails.

I used OPI’s ‘Glints of Glinda’ as a base for that natural look and ‘Lady In Black’ for the lettering which says ‘Love’.

Gold Foiling

This was my first attempt at foils and although they looked great before I put on the topcoat, when I applied it they went all crinkly, and only lasted me a day as they got wrecked easily!

I brought a lot of various foils from eBay so am going to test it with some gel polish see if that lasts.

Pink and Blue Leopard Print

I used OPI’s ‘Strawberry Margarita’, ‘No Room For The Blues’ and ‘Lady In Black’ to do this mani.

I wore this to a meeting in a hair salon where I am going to rent a room to be able to do my nail business from as I completed my training this week I am now able to offer Gel Extensions, Liquid and Powder extensions (acrylics), fibreglass, Mani and Pedi’s and Luxury treatments.

Half Moon and Sunset Nails

For this manicure I used OPI’s ‘Alpine Snow’ and ‘My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours’.

I painted my nails with a base white then hand painted the half moon first and painted stripes and spread them out.

This mani was inspired by The Illustrated Nail.

Flowers and Glitter Nails

For this mani I used OPI’s ‘A Grape Fit’ as a base and used ‘Alpine Snow’, ‘Sparrow Me The Drama’, ‘Strawberry Margarita’ and ‘Green-wich’ for the flowers and hearts nails, then I used ‘Which Is Witch?’ For the glitter nails.
