So for this days challenge I decided to do a zebra print as I haven’t done one for a while.
So I used Wing Dust’s ‘Ocean Tears’ as a base which is a turquoise jelly glitter indie polish (I purchased mine from http://www.rainbow-connection.co.uk)
Then I used Opi’s ‘Lady In Black’ and a small detailing paintbrush to create the stripes and topped them off with Seche Vite.
For this glitter placement nails I used Opi’s ‘Strawberry Margarita’ as a base and ‘Polka.com’ for the glitter placement to create the ruffian manicure.
I used Seche vite topcoat to finish them off.
So I recently received a mini summer 2013 collection by Polish Me To Go which included 6 glow in the dark polishes, including 4 neon colours and two glitter toppers.
So I decided to do a gradient with two of the colours to brighten up my week.
I used ‘Mango Mania’ and ‘Strawberry Dreams’ for the gradient and then Ethereal lacquers ‘Noir’ glitter topper.
I then used Seche Vite to finish them off.
And here is a picture of them glowing in the dark after being charged up in my led lamp.
For day 6 of this months challenge I used Butter London’s ‘Disco Biscuit’ topped with OPI’s ‘Pure’ 18k white gold and silver leaf topcoat.
So these nails were inspired by Roy Lichtenstein’s artwork Girl With Hair Ribbon.
I used China Glaze’s ‘White On White’ as a base, Ciate’s ‘Boudoir’ for the dots and ‘Liquid Leather’ by China Glaze for the eye accent nail.
So these nails were inspired by 90s tv show Doug which was one of my favourites growing up!
I used Ciate’s ‘Pepperminty’ as a base and acrylic paints for the details.
Brand new year, new month which means new nailart challenge! There was no day 1 it started on day 3 which was fresh.
So I went with ‘Fresh as a daisy’ and used Ciate’s ‘Ferris Wheel’ as a base and China Glaze’s ‘White On White’ and Opi’s ‘Need Sunglasses?’ For the daisies.
