For the final day of December the theme was obviously New Year’s Eve as we approached January.
I used Opi’s ‘Russian Navy’ and ‘I Snow You Love Me’ for the glitter placement of 2014.
I used a small dotting tool to place the glitter pieces onto my nails to create the numbers.
For one of the final days of December the theme was glitter so I decided to do a leopard print mani which is quick and easy (check out my YouTube channel @nonaphilippa for a tutorial).
I used Opi’s ‘All Sparkly and Gold’, ‘ate Man With The Golden Gun’ 18k gold leaf topcoat and Essie’s ‘Mink Muffs’ and China Glaze’s ‘Liquid Leather’ for the leopard spots.
Topped with my favourite topcoat Seche Vite for a quick smooth and shiny finish.
These are quite simple sweet nails as I wasn’t sure what to do at the time. I used Opi’s ‘Lincoln Park After Dark’ as a base.
Then for the sweets I used China Glaze’s ‘So Blue Without You’, ‘Mingle With Kringle’ and ‘Infra Red’ and Opi’s ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’.
So for midway through this challenge the theme was nature and as it’s winter I thought I’d do some snowy bare trees.
I used Opi’s ‘Gargantuan Green Grape’ as a base and China Glaze’s ‘White on White’ and ‘Liquid Leather’ for the trees with a small detailing paintbrush.
Sorry for being so late with these and I know Xmas is over but I wanted to post the rest of my December nails before new year!
So I used Opi’s ‘An Affair In Red Square’ as a base then used China Glaze’s ‘White on White’ for the snowfall, and snowy trees and snowman.
For day 10 of this months nailart challenge the theme was studs so I wanted to do some gothic style nails .
I used China Glaze’s ‘Liquid Leather’ and OPI’s ‘An Affair In Red Square’ for the half moon’s (if you want to check out how I do my free handed half moon’s check out my YouTube video http://youtu.be/xEUYZCIXTiU)
Then on random nails I used OPI’s ‘The Man With The Golden Gun’ 18k gold leaf topcoat and added two studs aswell.
I then topped them all with Seche Vite.
