As in the UK we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving I decided to do some themed nails of what I am thankful for, such as love and family. So in with that theme I wanted to do some vintage tattoo nails with tattoo lettering and a heart.
I didn’t use a base on my nails as at the moment I have Gelish Hard Gel in Cover Pink overlays so the pink is the gel.
I used China Glaze’s ‘Liquid Leather’, ‘White On White’ and ‘Ruby Pumps’ and a small paintbrush for everything.
For the release of the new Hunger Games film Catching Fire I decided to do the mockingjay pin and some fiery cuticles.
I used China Glaze’s ‘Liquid Leather’ as a base, then acrylic paints for the fiery cuticles, which I layered on each colour in stripes down my nail.
Then I used OPI’s ‘A Woman’s Prague-ative’ and China Glaze’s ‘Mingle With Kringle’ for the pin.
These have to be some of my favourite nails this month!! Perfect for the lead up to christmas.
I used OPI’s ‘An Affair In Red Square’ for the majority of my nails, ‘All Sparkly And Gold’ on my ring finger, then I used ‘I Snow You Love Me’ for the glitter placements at my cuticles.
As its the winter I wanted to make sure I didn’t do some summery floral nails so I decided to stick to dark polishes and some roses.
I used OPI’s ‘Lincoln Park After Dark’ on the majority of my nails and ‘A Grape Fit’ on my ring finger. I then used a dotting tool to create the roses in the corners of my nails using the opposite colour to the nail.
Then using China Glaze’s ‘White On White’ as a highlighter on the roses, and OPI’s ‘Jade Is The New Black’ for the leaves.
As usual I used Seche Vite Fast Drying Topcoat.
For day 13 of this challenge I decided to do something simple for the monochrome theme, and do a different pattern on each nail.
I used China Glaze’s ‘White On White’ as a base then ‘Liquid Leather’ and a small detailing paintbrush for the black blocks.
I then topped my nails off with Seche Vite.
For nature nails I decided to do an autumn/winter theme as that is the season, so I used OPI’s ‘Did You Ear About Van Gogh’ as a base then ‘Rising Star’, ‘Take The Stage’, ‘The Show Must Go On’, ‘Ali’s Big Break’ and ‘Tease-y Does It’ all from the Burlesque collection for the autumn leaves on the bare tree branches.
For these nails I used OPI’s ‘Skyfall’ as a base as its been my most popular colour this season!
Then I added OPI’s ‘Oy Another Polish Joke’ and China Glaze’s ‘Liquid Leather’ for the leopard print.
